In the model SOMNOscreen™ RC, we have implemented further simplification. With just 2 Sensors (Nasal Cannula and Pulse Oximeter Probe) you can achieve the required results and accuracy. Also, CPAP control can be performed. Measured Parameters Include:

• Effort (Thorax or Abdomen)
• Nasal Flow
• Pulse Rate
• SpO2
• Snoring
• CPAP-Pressure

The comfortable Silicone Finger clip gives the patient a comfortable night sleep!
Without adding anything more, the patients Breathing Effort can be measured through the built in Effort Sensor.

Application Details:
Before measuring data with the SOMNOscreen™ RC, you decide which configuration is required for each individual patient. The patients are then instructed on how to fit the necessary sensors and electrodes. All the required components are then placed in the clearly laid out carry case. The case is designed to store the unit with all the sensors and electrodes already in place so that the patients simply lifts the unit out of the bag and attaches it to themselves. The unit will can be programmed to start automatically at a preset time and will end the recording and switch itself off at the end of the study. The patient can sleep comfortably in his or her own bed because the complete system is fitted to the patient and there are no cables going to the bedside or external Headbox. This allows the patient to move about freely. There are many different configuration modes available to meet all your different needs. All the parts of the system that the patient may need to attend to, Connectors, Sensors and Electrodes, are robust and are both Colour and Key-coded to eliminate confusion and errors. The Connector and Sensors are robust and through Colour and Key-coding, eliminate confusion. When inserting the connector a positive CLICK is felt locking the connector in place.
